Pontypool Rfc player Scott Mathhews will continue to captain the side for the 2023/24 season, as they now gained promotion back into the Welsh Primership.
Matthews plays Back Row and has been a vital player for Pooler since leaving Crosskeys summer 2018.
He scored 10 tries in 19 matches for Pontypool in his first season helping them with their unbeaten record in the Championship and winning the title.
He played 66 times and has 39 tries to his name for Pontypool.
