Cory Hill Signs for fourth division Japanese club after quitting Wales squad




Cory Hill have signed for a fourth division Japanese club Secom Rugguts in just month after leaving the Wales training camp.

Hill has 32 Wales caps to his credit. He had left Japanese side Yokohama Canon Eagles to play for Wales for the first time since 2021, but with no suitable offers from European sides, he pulled out of the Wales squad for opportunity  for Japanese city of Sayama with fourth division side Secom Rugguts.

 

Cory Hill turned his back to play in his second Rugby World cup in favor to play for lower league Japanese Rugby side.

Other Wales players to go Japan is Liam Williams who have signed for top club Kobelco Steelers, there also interest in Garth Anscombe going play in Japan also.
